I bought sims 4 over 2 weeks ago and when i downloaded script mods for sims 4,they worked fine. But after i downloaded a few more the game took forever to load a household. Then i removed the extra mods i downloaded and it was having the same problem. Even the script mods that were working fine stopped working. Now, no script mods work. If someone knows how to fix the problem,any help will be. With script mods, they can’t be more than one folder level down in your mods folder. You need to place the script mods either directly into the mods folder, or only in one level/folder in the mods folder. For example, with the MCCC mod you can have Documents-Electronic Arts -Sims 4 -mods-MCCC.

1. Launch your game and then exit out of it (it seems random but this step is important to create the mods folder).
2. Go to your “My Documents” or “User/Documents” folder on your computer and then find the “Electronic Arts” folder.
3. Open the “Electronic Arts” folder. It should have another folder in it called “The Sims 4”. Open it. Inside, you should see yet another folder called “Mods”. Open the Mods folder (it should have a resource.cfg file in it).
4. Now, every time you want to add a new mod, just drag it into this “Mods” folder.
5. When you open The Sims, you should get a popup with a list of all the mods you have installed.
6. If you have downloaded any script mods, then make sure to enable them in your in-game settings.
7. That’s it!
